Is a veterinarian graduated from the University of Passo Fundo, Brazil. Prior joining the Technical Services of Merck Animal Heath in 2021, Dr. Tomazi completed his Master’s and Ph.D. at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Part of his Ph.D. research was conducted in the Quality Milk Production Services at Cornell University. Dr. Tomazi also served as Research Assistant at the University of São Paulo, Brazil and as Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences at Cornell University. Most of his career has been centered on epidemiology and control of infectious diseases in dairy cattle.
